How does the AI story assistant work?

Select text or place your cursor and open the AI panel. Ask the AI to rewrite dialogue, suggest scene ideas, or generate character backstories.

Are there usage limits on AI features?

Freemium plans get 100 AI actions per month. Lite gets 1,000. Pro gets 5,000. Master gets 25,000. Enterprise plans have custom AI usage with priority processing.

Using the AI co-writer chat

POST /api/ai/chat with { message, agentId } (for example agentId co_writer) plus optional scriptContent and history. Responses are rate-limited, cached per prompt, and logged for usage tracking. When no AI provider is configured, the endpoint returns a deterministic sample reply without a model call.
